All of a sudden (o.k. last nights posts on fave low cal foods help a bit) I`m craving zuchinni so I`m going to buy the yellow ones, slice it in half , hollow it, then fill it with diced (drainned) tomatoes and a little feta or cottage cheeses and grill it on the b.B.Q and see how it turns out.....

Ended up taking a medium spagetti squash , cut it in half , took out the seeds, nuke it for about 2 minutes then place face down on the grill a few minutes, then turn it over and filled it with diced tomatoes, garlic, fresh basil, cottage cheese, and 1 tbsp bread crumbs..Then grilled it a bit longer...This made enough for two and was very very very good...probably less then 200 cals per serving...G

OMG! That sounds fantastic!
I love all types of squash. I'd have to say my favorites are zucchini, butternut and acorn. But I love spaghetti squash too.

Spaghetti squash rules! I have it with tomato sauce and fresh herbs from my garden, sometimes with broiled chicken on top. In fact, it's dinner tonight. At 40 calories per cup cooked without fat, you can't go wrong! Someday I am going to figure out a recipe with all herbs and no sauce. Maybe tonight--basil, oregano and fresh garden tomatos, with a smidgen of Pam olive oil spray?

I want to do with squash exactly what it is called.
Due to the name I can't even force myself to try it. Especially if I'm not guaranteed that it will taste like chicken.
