Hi, Just thought I would boost about my good eating day...the first in a long while.
I didn't get to workout today, but I ate well. I didn't eat aimlessly, not thinking about what went into my mouth. I was conscious about my choices. Now if I can just get through the weekend, I'll be happy ( I don't think I am entitled to a cheat day yet?)
Today I ate: A power bar ( protein plus...ate 3/4s of it)
orange juice
tall vanilla latte with skim milk
2 pieces of egg bread ( didn't have whole wheat)
skinless chicken breast
mustard / fat free mayo
plain raw almonds
4 small chicken meatballs
1/2 cup white rice
steamed broccoli
Anyone have a calorie count? and I know I should eat more veggies and whole grains. Any other input..feel free to let me know.

Today I ate:
Two 250 calorie sandwiches, (low calorie bread, meat, cheese, plus veggies) an orange, a tall americano with half & half and equal, two handfuls of trail mix, five dried appricots, four dried prunes (actually yummy), a chunk of fig from Saudia Arabia (rich, sweet, and yummy), and a bite of Chineese sausage and lentil soup.

Well, it looks like you had a good day. I, like you, can do well on week days, but the weekends seem to give me fits. I hope your weekend menu goes as well.
