I'm going to start going to the gym. Is it better to do aerobic workouts first or weight trainging if I'm trying to lose weight and become a little more toned (I'm a 17 year-old girl). Also, if I work out for about 1 - 1.5 hours, HOw much should I eat before and how long before?

do both cardio and weights, just not at the same time. LEave a good 8 hour break between the two, both forms of exercise, if done properly at the right intensity are very taxing to the body. Start your weights 2-3 times per week and cardio on your non weight training days leaving atleast one day off per week for rest.
Eat your food about 30 mins prior to exerise so it can be used as fuel for exercise.
