Hi everyone-i was just reading some of the post on here, and i just wanted to say that i have tried both ways of eating : just breakfast lunch and dinner, or the little snacks all day long. For me, (and you need to do what you know is best for yourself). but the eating (all day long it seems like) is the best for me. i do not get hungry, and "lose" control because i am so hungry. if your tummy stays full, you won't have the huge urge to pig out! you just have to get it out of your mind that eating all the time is going to make you gain weight! but if you know you can't just eat a small amount, then maybe that is not the best choice! if you make these small sncaks a good and healthy choice, then it should help you! i'm not preaching, and i mess up alot, but like you, i'm trying! my son said i'm not trying because i eat a BIG breakfast, but that holds me over until lunch-and it gives me alot of energy until later in the afternoon! His comment kind-of hurt my feelings, but i am losing weight, so i'm not going to feel bad about what i eat for breakfast! sorry this is so long! there is so much to talk about ! LOL! thanks for letting me post my opinion!!

I've tried the eating small meals all day. Maybe I should try going back to that. Now I recall that I didn't slip up as much. I tried to eat a fiberous veggie, lean protein and a complex carb at each mini meal. It's just so hard to do sometimes! I have a little one that I am chasing around all day!
Glad you posted that! I will have to try that again. It also seems to help keep the blood sugar regulated (helping to eliminate the splurges)

Weight loss specialists suggest to eat every 3 hours or so throughout the day. this raises your metabolism & enables your body to burn more fat, even though you're eating more. Your body never thinks it will go into "starvation" mode (when you go long periods without food) and it also keeps your insulin levels at a normal range...which helps w\ weight loss too.
