Hi everyone!
I must say, I feel alot more confident in my goals since finding all of you and all of the insight I have gotten. My big question today is is it good to snack between meals? Do you think that it is possible to do it in a healthy way and still lose weight, or does it always lead to overeating? I am curious what everyone's experiences are with it, especially since I am trying to figure out how to eat healthy, well balanced meals after 25 years or so of feeding my body way too much junk.
Thanks!

Well, I may not be the best example here, but the calories in foods add up to the same number of calories whether you eat them all at once or 10 times a day. The goal is to limit the calories each day to a certain number.
It works better for me to plan three meals and one snack at night and divide my calories up that way. But eating inbetween meals works for others here.
Bottom line, you need to limit the calories each day no matter what time you eat the food.

The recommended approach to haveing a better body rather it is a thinner one or you're into body building is to eat 5 to 6 small meals a day. I eat about 5 meals a day and they are all low in calories with my dinner meal at 7pm being about 400-500 calories. I stay at 1300 total for the day. I find if I don't let myself get too hungry before I eat, then I am less likely to overeat.
