I currently belong to a gym and see a registered dietician on a weekly basis. I go to the gym 3 times a week to do cardio, strength training, stretching and some ab work. After one week with the dietician, I lost 3 pounds! I'm happy because it's working, but, there's not much toning going on. My question is this: does CURVES help you to tone as well as lose the weight?

all weight training will help you tone...but u need to lose fat to see muscle...thats what tone is...it doesnt have to be curves...your strength training may help you tone already, it just takes time.

Hey you...I did another curves workout today, and LOVED it, I had FUN, and had lots of energy, However I did feel that I needed and wanted to do some crunches and leg lifts after. If you are unsure, try it for a week and then deciede. Just an opinion from your favorite sister in law!

Thanx for the tip Margin. I think I will try it out for a week and then decide. Yesterday, I shovelled the snow twice to the total of 65 minutes. I felt bad that I did not find time to go to the gym, but today, I feel like I did an incredible workout!! I can feel all my muscles in my arms, legs and back. So I guess, in a sense, I really did work out, just not in the gym.
