Thanks for the tip! This how I am doing it (for now) just the step with no risers. I don't think I'd last 5 minutes with a riser cuz it would kill my knees! When I lose some more weight and get a little more graceful, I'll ad 1 riser and go from there. That will probably be a while though.......

I just realized I read your post, but didn't answer it. My answer? You go girl!
I started out in step w/no risers and sticking to the last row...as the class got easier I moved up a row. I'm now in the front w/risers enjoying every minute.
