Okay so i thought you guys might find this interesting. i was at work today reading a glamour mag (or maybe elle, can't remember) and there was this study that said that simply SMELLING grapefruit can make you lose weight. They tested this on people who didn't change their diet or exercise, and the ones that sniffed grapefruit lost 2.5 pounds in month or something. they said the smell ignites fat burning hormones (hmm...) but yeah... if only it were that easy huh?

i would seriously question that little study...too many variables for it to be even close to remotely correct...just hearing it sounds way off

I am convinved that you are a jerk posting on this board to misinform and lead people into disaster, and when anyone posts with a brain or a study, you get this sick and twisted pleasure in posting to disprove it or diss it. You're a jerk jerk...what do you think aromatherapy is? It is a proven treatment and is viable. People use it all the time...the smell of vanilla would not make you want to eat all the time would it not? Try it and open up your mind for once instead of closing it and trying to close other people's minds also.
Oh I forgot, the GYM GOD has spoken...

well since u keep calling me that 'God' says shut the hell up lmaooo....i just dont believe it is all..can u take that? that i disagree? others can..they might believe it...thats their choice but when u have been innto this thing as long as i have all you tend to do is critique studies to find flaws...that way u can decipher what is most accurate....i have been at uni for a while doing this and most other grads will tell you the same...alot of studies can be shonky so the results sway the readers into what they read as being true...things like self-funded studies are a prime example of 'researches' tinkering with results to get favourable outcomes for the company that provided the dough to carry out the study...look into it you would be suprised

you don't even know what your disagreeing about do you? You just see something and those blinkers at the side of your mind come up and stop you seeing round corners...so you never see the big openness do you? Your the typical "Know it all" and anything anyone else has to say has got to be hyped or crap.

and it is a pain in the butt actually. You go to them with symptoms and they think they know it all...meanwhile you know what it is and just want something specific doing. They just prescribe everything BUT what you need. Then you ask them a simple question about a side-effects and because it doesn't appear on their typical list of side-effects it cannot be possibly related to the drug. ;) Meanwhile folks are dying from it...

well doyou have a uni degree? Not yet...prolly graduate bottom of the pile also with you're know it all attitude... oh and by the way, I DO intend doing a Bachelor of Science next year when my 4 yo goes to school. The only thing between me and IT is time darling--time and busy life. Not to say that I did not do anything with my life up to this point you understand. What with doing a diploma in Art when I left school and completing up to level 4 in Hairdressing I am quite sure my level of knowledge would not extend any further doing the poxy degree YOU ARE DOING. What the hell education has got to do with it is beyond me actually. That is what my post here is about you idiot....some people have top careers, but it doesn't mean they achieved the best results on the way there. You sound quite childish.
