I have heard in the past that sweets are not so fattening if you eat in moderation. Does that mean a few sweets a day wont harm? Im dying for sweets sometimes but i control myself. I gotta admit that i have had ONE piece of chocolate here and there but im more of a sweet person then choclolate. Any suggestions? at one point when i was extremely unsettled i used to eat bags and bags of sweets and i LOST weight so Im wondering if sweets do make people gain weight as fast as chocolate does?

Sweets just like anything else is ok in moderation. I guess moderation needs to be defined.

I have a few different kinds of sugar free candies in my room. You can find sugar free caramels, sugar free fruity flavored candies, sugar free butterscotch candies..
I'm not saying to eat tons of these, but they are nice to have around :)

If you eat a Hershey bar in 1 sitting or if you eat a Hershey bar bite-by-bite over the course of the day you are still getting the same amount of calories. We try so hard to lose weight and things like that can really set you back without you even realizing it. Throw the sweets in the trash and you'll feel better. Just my 2 cents.

keep your sweet as post cardio/weightlifting things to eat...not only is it your reward it will restore glycogen (which seems to be a popular topic lately for some reason?!)
