Whats the deal with all these supplements going around? Do any of them actually work? Has anyone tried any of them, if so what where the results?
I'm thinking about taking Carbo Slims, good idea or bad?

Common sense should tell you at if they actually worked, there wouldn't be an obesity epidemic in the country today--they don't and there is.
You will lose inches alright--but only in your wallet.

Supplements can be a good thing, depending on what you are using them for. There is no "magic supplement" that will take all the weight off with no effort from you. If you are not eating a proper, balanced diet, supplements can help you get the nutrients you are missing out on. I use ready to drink nutrition shakes, Myoplex powder and protein powder. I use 1 or 2 of these as a meal replacement 1 to 2 times per day. I'm not familiar with Carbo Slims, but if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. It's amazing to me some of the claims that are made by some of the supplement manufacturers and distributers.
Nutrients are always better if you can get them from your diet, but taking a vitamin can help when you don't get what you need from food.
