its probably the carbohydrates which give you the kick more than the sugar but either way....stop eating it!! lol..its one of those things isnt it..no magical formulas just start to eat less and less as time rolls on..try relaying your dependance on something healthy like doing some exercise and trying to beat previous times or distance as your motivation.

Heather, I was SO HOOKED on sugar!!! I feel for ya. It's not an easy time of year staying off of sweets with girlscouts selling cookies outside of every market. :)
I switched cold turkey to 100% fruit juices, and then to diet sodas. Not even close, I know, a totally different thing from sugar, but after a week or so, my taste buds make the transition and the sugar cravings drastically decreased. When the cravings come back, I munch on sweet pickles and that fixes it. Hopefully someone else here will have better suggestions. Good Luck!
