To day started off bad and ended bad. I was tired and cranky when I got up for church. Got mad at my husband over nothing. Then we had to go to his Grandmothers Birthday party.( What a disaster) Everyone was arguing ( expecially grandmother). Then I decided I would go by my mothers to be nice and say hello, Keep in mind we do not get along very well. So she gets mad at me over something, ( I have NO idea what I did or said.) Now I'm about as irratated as I can get and when I get in these moods I usually want to veg out big time. So at the moment I'm typing this to stay out of the birthday cake grandmother made us bring home. My husband says hes going to take it to work tommorrow. But for now its hanging out on my kitchen table looking so good. Anyway after we left moms I ended up agreeing to go to a mexican restrant for dinner. I ordered a chicken chimichanga and left about 1/3 of it on my plate. I only had a bite of the rice and beans that comes with it and I didn't eat the cheese you dip it in. So maybe I will be ok. sorry I just needed to vent I do feel a little better now. I hate when I get feeling like this, I also hate that for years food has been my excape from I guess reality. Thanks for listening.

We all have days like that..I had one the other day, and all I wanted to do was watch t.v. and pig out on potato chips. I'm starting to learn that I can't let food control me and that I am in control of the situation. Just try and get a good nights rest and start tomorrow off fresh :-).
"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept upon it. Forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day, you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old worries"
~Ralph Waldo Emerson

There will always be times like these. Our success at losing weight and keeping it off are built on these very moments. The thing that helps me the most is to plan for these inevetable moments of stress and weakness. Predetermine a course of action to take when things get real tough. I'm sure in your profession that when chaos breaks out, your training kicks in and your able to rise above whats happening to effectively get the job done. In many ways it's the same with our family life. Hang in there.
P.S. Greetings from Huntsville
