Hi,

This is my first time on any site like this. Late 2001 (november) things were at the worst levels I had hit a weight level which I was embrassed to go out or interact with anyone. Everytime I heard someone laugh I assumed it was at me and most times it was. I weighed 385. I took a conscious decision to do something and last summer I hit 312. I have been fighting the good fight for over 15 years but unfortunately after hitting 312 I stopped. No reason, just stopped. This morning I made another effort to start again. I am now 341.
The thing is that there is a deep desire to lose the weight but something happens on the way. My will power has improved for a person who bit his nails for 29 years (I finally stopped.)
Its so easy to binge and then feel guilty about it. I do not want to die this way for the only reason the whole world will know I died because of eating.
So to all those out there....Here I go again.

We are all here for yah!!!! Its easy to give up but its not easy to stick with I know!
But I come to this site everyday and everyday I find that Im still not the ONLY ONE! It helps me get motivated, just when Im feeling like I want to quit but Like so many have said "It didnt take a month to put on the weight so dont look at a month for it to ALL come off.And how true that is.
For me So far I have lost about 15pounds but seemed to have stalled, so I tell my self that what I lost is mostly water and from now on what I will lose is FAT.

Keep in touch we can all do this together!
And as far as anyone laughing.....well the will die when they see the new you!
They are the people who are really hurting inside.Im sure they couldnt do what you are going to do:)

Reading your post made me think of a quote I heard during a sermon at church a couple of weeks ago. Thomas Edison tried and "failed" 2000 times to invent the lightbulb before actually succeeding. When asked how it felt to fail that many times he replied, "I have never failed once. I simply took 2,001 steps to invent the light bulb."
I thought that was wonderful. Rather than focusing on our past failures, we can see them as learning experiences. We can see more clearly what to do now that we know what won't work. We are just taking steps to success. Seeing our past as a failure dooms us to quit. So we can just think of it as a maze or something. If we have tried one path and it didn't work, then we make a mental note of what went wrong and then take another path.
Yesterday only matters for what we can learn from it. After we have learned from our past we put it behind us and dwell in the "here and now". Tomorrow shouldn't be our focus either. We don't know if tomorrow will come and the Bible says, "Don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Every day has enough trouble of its own." (Matthew 6:34)
So, muno, live this day to the fullest! Carpe diem, and all that stuff !!! I hope today is a great one for you (and the rest of us too). Keep in touch.

P.S. Sorry for the long post. It must be the ex-cheerleader coming out in me!!

I am so glad you are going for it again. You can do it!

I care.

Have you ever tried weight loss products? Have you talked
with your doctor about weight loss products?

Good ones can work. Sometimes we need more help, the
deep desire may not be enough.

I know Christi who lost 100lbs. Glenn who lost 162lbs. and
Diana who lost 52lbs. and many more people who have lost
lots of weight with the 10-n-10 weight loss system.

I don't want you to die this way! You don't have to.

I want you to get healthy in 2003!

If you would like to talk further, just email me. I can help!
tanya5@att.net or give me a call (860)646-7725.

Here is a testimonial from Christi who lost 100lbs
I want you to read...

Just 3 years ago, I weight 230 pounds and had given up
ever believing that I could lose the weight. I had tried
everything and had basically given up. My personal life
was suffering because of my lack of self-esteem, loss of
energy, and deep depression over what I believed was a
losing battle with my weight. I had a new baby, no job,
and no social life. Because of my weight gain, I was very
self-conscious about my appearance and I didn't have
the engergy or desire to do anything about it. So, I stayed
home with the baby and found comfort in food.

I didn't realize how desperate my situation had become
or how much weight I had actually gained - until I saw
a photograph of myself that made it painfully clear how
out of control my eating had become. Well, I knew things
couldn't go on like this...

The first thing I had to do was get a job, which was hard
enough because I didn't have any confidence in myself or
my abilities. The thought of a job interview terrified me.
When I walked into the offices of a company called Youngevity,
I had no idea that it would change my life completely! The
company's President and Founder -Craig Keeland - talked with
me that day about a job,and then he said something I will never
forget: He said "Christi, God only makes winners. You're a
winner and I know you can do this job. I also know you can
lose the weight you want to lose...and I can help you do it!"
Craig started me on a plan he was developing Youngevity's
10-N-10 System and it worked like magic! The rest is
history.

Xo, Tanya

I know that feeling. My weight loss attempts so far in life have been a maximum of 15 days. I would lose around 3 pounds, and then just stop...like u say, no reason, just stop. and then I would stop bothering abt it until i saw a fotograph of myself or somebosy said something 'nasty'...i would start again...another 15 days...stop...
This time, I've struggled to cross that '15-day' limit, and today I'm on the 21'st day, 4 pounds lighter than what I was when I started.

You can do it. We all can do it, we just need to hang in there. If you have the focus, then everything you do or don't do will be centred around your weight, and that by itself will help you.

I'll cheer you all the way! don't you worry...We are all here to support each other, and goad each other on...today, it's the joy of getting into an old pair of trousers, tomorrow it's a matter of better health and living longer...keep that big picture in mind, always!

Take care
