Brandy,
May the wonderful memories you have of your dear grandmother sustain you in your time of grief. Take whatever time you need to heal, secure in the knowledge that you've gained a guardian angel to help you in all your future endeavors.

I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother. Grandmothers are very special people, trust me I know what you are going through. My grandmother died 12 years ago and I still cry sometimes when I think about her!!
On the diet issue, I don't blame you for wanting to put it off until January. Instead, try to focus on at least maintaining your weight through the holidays, that way you'll have less to lose!

Brandy,
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. My grandma died over 8 years ago and I was surprised to read you post this morning. I had a dream about her last night and woke up crying because I had forgotten to say goodbye to her in my dream. I went back to see her but I knew she was gone. It was such a vivid dream and I haven't dreamt about her in a long time, but it goes to show how important grandmas are and how we hold on to their memories for so long. I had to have a good cry for myself after I woke up. Take care of yourself during this time and do things for yourself that pick you up. We're here for each other, so don't forget about coming on here during this time for a helping hand through all of this.
Sincerely,
Tara
