starving is where u fall down. Eat 5-6 smaller meals per day and keep your weekends free as relax days. Combine cardio and weights at opposing time slots and things will happen.

Are you within your ideal weight yet? I'm well within my ideal weight already at this time and this is only about the time that my gut seems to be finally shaping up. Our body loses fat from different places at varying rates. For a lot it seems, the tummy part is the last to budge. So if you're not well within you're ideal weight yet, just be patient and continue to lose the excess weight. In time, the spare tire will eventually have to give.

Hi Lolita,
My name is Jen Bee. I am only fourteen years old, but I had a weight loss of ten pounds earlier in my life (around the age of 12) and if you do cardio and a little of weight training, it does happen for you. All you have to do is balance yourself so that you WANT to work out when you have the spare time. Instead of watching television, go to the gym. Instead of going out for dinner, cook a nice dinner for yourself (other family members too, if that's something you do) but do remember to treat yourself sometimes, too. I find that if I lose 5 pounds, instead of rewarding myself with food, I get myself one of those heart rate things, or soemthing like that.
Just be kind to yourself, workout and be careful about what you take in. That's EXACTLY what I did, and I lost precisely 9.4 pounds!

I'm 5'4 and 128 lbs., and I feel really good and pretty much satisfied with my weight. At 5'6' and 130 lbs., you likely look great. I'm currently getting into the discipline of Pilates, and am convinced that it's the one that's finally getting my gut to the degree of tone and flatness I want. Since you're within normal weight too, then this avenue might be helpful for you as well.
I would consult reference books on the topic, concentrate on the mat exercises and not waste my money on the tapes and various equipment (bands, balls, rings, etc.) that they sell out there nowadays. The original Pilates discipline requires only mat work or those really expensive (in the thousand dollar range) machines, when availbale. It also demands that mind-body connection, such that memorization of the exercises (as against following a video), is part of the technique.
I saw results as early as two weeks of 10-15 minutes daily of beginner's moves on top of my regular cardio and weights work-out.
