o.k. now that the boys are not looking I have a question for you regarding counting calories when Tom is visiting...I normally try to get between 1300-1500 cals per day when I`m keeping my journal and usually average in the lower 1300...Do you gals adjust or increase your caloric intake on the days Tom visit?
Not to be graphic, but Tom is really hard on me so usually I do try to include spinach and such during that time but also find that I`m a bit more weak so even if I went up to 1700 cals it would still be 500 cals less then my maintaining number so I just wonder what changes you do if any...Thanks G

LOL!!! Never heard of "TOM" before. Very clever.
I wouldn't know much about an answer though. We don't visit.

I share your ... um ... plentitude? There's usually at least one day I don't walk far from the supply cupboard but I don't tweak my calories. I increase my water and ibuprofen!

TOM and I haven't visited in over 12 years. I feel very lucky for that so I can't exactly relate. Norplant kept it away for 10 years, Depo for 2 and that surgery I had in February seems to have driven TOM away for good. :) Doctor says I'm fine.
From a calorie stand point I wouldn't think anything would be necessary. Increased water consumption might be a good idea, but other than that, I don't know.
