Hi guys. I am very new here, and just trying to see how I can loose 83 pounds in may be 1 year or less. i weigh 222 pounds now and I need to go as low as 139 pounds can somebody help me out? I do wtp for 45 minutes everyday and work for 5 hours a day. I also go to school. I don't drive. I have being having weight problems since my teen age, i am 30 now and hate myself. I have tried a lot of thing but it seems as if nothing is working for me.

Welcome goldrade!! I really like this board and hopefully you will too! Everyone is great here,I have only been here for about 6 weeks and have lost 6 lb. I decided to do the 52lb in 52 weeks for me. Lots of Luck :-)

Hi,
You sound like me about 5 months ago. I wanted to lose like 60lbs in 9 to 12 months. But then I decided to be more reasonable, at least for me; I don't really like to diet. I think a pound a week is a hard enough goal already.
I'd like to know you better. Maybe we could be weightloss buddies. I go to school myself too; I just turned 22 5 days ago. (yippee)

nice meeting you guys, you all sounds encouraging. Newto, I will like to know you more. Let me say happy birthday. My BD will be dec. I look forward to it. So What do you do to loose 1 pound a week? I think that is too small. or what do you think?
