I weighed in yesterday morning at 215...that is up another two pounds from last week...a total 4 lb gain in the last two weeks...
It's been a really stressful couple of weeks...I'm burnt out from school, I need to get my cervix frozen, and my boyfriend and I had been arguing talking about breaking up so I have been stress eating like crazy the last couple of weeks...and with it being cold and the holidays coming up, I am not getting a positive outlook on things...I'm looking out the window as I type and cringing at the thought of getting on a walk this morning with it being so cold and frosty...I've been thinking about asking my mom if I can borrow her exercise bike over the winter...it might be the only way I get enough exercise...And I really wanted to hit 200 by New Years Eve which is only a month away...
Things are a little better this week though...I got my sister to babysit my son over the weekend and went to go visit my boyfriend...we really worked out some things and it was the best weekend we've had together in awhile...no fighting, good conversation, great sex, all in all a relaxing time just being with eachother...it really helped allieviate a great deal of stress...so I think I'm ready to get myself back on the ball with this diet...speaking of, I better grab a scarf, gloves and a hat and get my booty on that walk I was just mentioning...

Today is a new day!
I have had me cervix frozen too I think they call it a coposkopy or something like that. I had it done in June and have to go back the last time in December (I had precancerous cells) But hopefully that is the last time. I hate it. Have you had it done before?

Hon, I've been exactly where you are now and you can DO this.
Read Elizabeth Ann's "motivational quote" post. Read it over and over. Let it sink it. Because that's the key right there :)

I had the colposcopy a couple weeks ago and it came back with dysplasia, and they want to freeze my cervix to prevent them from going precancerous...I opted to wait until Febuary to do it because I have too much on my plate right now as it it...hopefully it won't get too much worse before then....

Thats what its called. I found out when I was pregnant-he said precancerous and all I could think of was that I caused it by smoking and on and on, then they did the freezing back in June and that is what he called it dysplasia. But if you haven't had it done before, it is a little weird- they go in with a freezing machine basically and then let it thaw for a few minutes and repeat it, I belive 3 x. It feels like cramps basically. But the only part I couldn't stand was the aftermath, my doctor said "You'll have a slight discharge for about anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months" I laughed cause I though he was kidding-nope, I had that for almost a month and half. If not for that, I wouldn't be dreading going back in December. But he said I had to have it done twice to be on the safe side once in June and then 6 months later. Blah! :(
But it isn't painful or scary. So don't be worried :)

Hang in there, and do what you have to do day-by-day. I've also had m cervix frozen - about 20 years ago. I think they have perfected the procedure by now.

Hi. I don't think I've corresponded with you before. I joined the group a little over a week ago.
It sounds to me like you did a pretty good job of motivating yourself! You should be proud! I've found that writing to you guys helps me a lot!
You can do it! All of us are working on it and so many here have done it! I've found that reading about everyone here makes it seem much more possible than I thought it was before.
Keep motivating yourself, and I'll try to support you along the way. I'm trying to lose about 10 pounds this month, as well.
You can do it!
