Well I`m a believer that the addition of ground flax in my daily food intake has been the reason I no longer require my asthma inhalers. Unfortunatelly altough I know and believe this doesn`t mean I`m always smart about things!!! Anyway I`ve noticed a change in my lung capacity(usually when I needed the inhalers) and realized that I`m guilty of not having had flax seed for a long time so I`ve started again and usually will have it in the smoothies I make for breakfast...
I like to keep things simple and usually will add 1 cup low fat plain yogurt, some fruit(fresh , canned or frozen), 1/2 cup skim milk, 1.5 tbsp of ground flax seeds and then blend...This gives enough for 2....
I sometime add 1 tbsp peanut butter for extra protein...
O.K. do you have simple smoothie recipes that do not include bunch of ingredients and gives a nice tasting smoothie that even the kids would like?
Mine is often blah tasting but for me it`s o.k.

Sorry to take so long!
I usually used frozen Strawberries (or blueberries or peaches) and a kiwi and I add an "Emergenc C" package from trader joes. I don't have a specific recipe, I just use what's available here.
I believe there are a ton of smoothie recipes here:
