You've most probably strained your evertor wrist ligaments - and will therefore have pain every time you evert your injured wrist (opening bottles, turning doorknobs, or any other movement that flicks your wrist outwards.
Best thing for that would be total immobilization of the wrist for 2-3 days, which would be made easy with use of a functional position wrist splint (prevents wrist movement side-to side, but you could still use your fingers to type and what not - any medical supply store should have it) and anti-inflammatories.
If you can't get hold of a splint, the main thing is to rest it, avoiding moving it/ stressing it sideways, and to keep the inflammation down with anti-inflammatories. Needless to say, free weights (or any upper body workout, since they all somehow involve the wrist) should not be done for this period of rest.
If you keep stressing it while its not fully recovered, it will never heal and might lead to long term arthritic problems.
Once recovered, try to incorporate wrist strenghtening exercises in your routine.
