slipping back into old thinking patterns

I'm beginning to get back into the habit "again" of having an all or nothing attitude. I'm not talking about it in the good sense either, I'm talking about the if I have a bad eating day, not excercising & feeling like what's the use? It's very familliar because it's how the old Sheila used to think. I need to get back to the new healthier mentality that said..."ok, you didn't eat so well today, but go excercise anyway, because you're worth it & punishing yourself won't help anything. Can you guys help me get back there, please....

You're within 5 pounds of your goal. You're so close. You've got to keep it up so that you can say, "I did it!" (Not that you haven't already accomplished a lot.)

You ARE worth it. And you know it. And we know it.

Sheila, you have come soooo far. Just sit back and look at your scores right now. You're winning. All you have to do is keep it up a little while longer. Remember, we all have days that we just want to throw in the towl and quit, but if everyone did just that and quit, then there wouldn't be any board. You can do it!! You're almost there. Keep up the good work.

A bad day is just that and a bad moment doesn't have to turn into a bad day, week, month. You are so close to your goal. A one day set back will slow you down, but it can't stop you if you don't let it. So, DON"T LET IT!!!!! You can do anyting you set your mind too :-)

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply. My husband's been running diagnostics on the computer and between that and my sixteen year old who wants to stay on it, I'm lucky to ever get on... I just wanted to say thanks for all the kind words of encouragement it REALLY helps when you're down, or feel like throwing in the towel. Thanks again guys!!!! Today I went for a walk and felt a LOT better!
