Is it ok to have breakfast, small snack, a slim fast shake for lunch, another snack, and dinner? My husband thinks that i should buy slim fast shakes and substitue them for my lunch.

NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!....supplements are just that..supplements..they will never replace proper food...anyway slimfast shakes and other diet shakes are so high in sugars, a proper meal would do you less harm..be wary of labels with meal replacements i only know of one good meal replacement and its price reflects is....its NYTRO-PRO 40 from ast-ss sports sceince..you pay for what you get in it though....heres an example of what i eat a day
breaky- wheat bix (buscuit things dunno if usa has em), some skim milk
10am- protein shake and some fruit or veggies
lunch- chicken breast with a LITTLE pasta and veggies
3am- protein shake and another healthy nibbly
dinner- spaghetti or a meat source with a low GI side
snack- oats or wheat and skim milk
this is usually what i eat on non-training days..i eat high GI foods at night on training days to keep the uptake of creatine and protein at optimum levels(all the high GI nutrition is directed to the worked muscles, and not stored as fat if you have done a serious workout) and then a low GI food after dinner (few hours after) so my body has a steady flow of blood sugar whilst i sleep(and therefore doesnt rob my muscles of the nutrition i have just fed it)...confused yet? lol
Dont take slimfast check the sugar contents of these things they are all so high its not funny...even energy and protein bars are a jipp coz of the amount of sugars and carbs in them..stick to a fuller meal!!

I have done the research. Believe me.. I have spent a lot of time reading labels, talking with nutritionists, reading magazines, reading medical journals and so on.
I have put everything up on a page about slimfast. Please take a look. The address is:

I hope this will put some idea into what you are actually drinking.

I wanted to see what you knew about slimfast but I couldn't access the website you wrote down. Could you please tell me why slimfast is bad? Also, why is natural food supposed to be healther than "unnatural" foods?
