hello everyone,
Thing are going fine i am losing weight oh so slowly but that not a worry losing weight is not my primary goal leading a healthy lifestyle is.
Over the last month or so my skin has bad. i feel like a teenager again (i am 27) I really don't understand. I am eating health foods ensuring i get 5 usually more fruit and veg portions. I am getting fitter i am going to the gym (not as much as I should but i am going)
I haven't changed any of my soaps or I am a slave to the cleansing toning moisturising routine.
Any clues anyone why this is happening not a major problem just rather annoying
thanks

It's happening to me, too. I read up on it and found out that often when your lifestyle has been steeped in junkfood, it takes awhile for your body to start getting rid of residuals from that lifestyle after you've changed. I wouldnt' worry about it, but make sure you drink your bitters (lemon in your water, spinach, grapefruit, etc.) to enable your liver to process the yucks out of your body through your digestive system instead of your skin. I've found that going on a fresh juice and salad diet for a couple of weeks is enough to help my skin. Keep up the water and try to avoid stuff with caffeine. Also, some good exposure to sunshine without makeup on, is really great for it, too.

...just be careful to use the right amount of sunblock when getting some sun so you block out the harmful UV rays.

If you on a low fat diet you may be deficient in EFA's. Try flax capsules or fish oil if your not already taking them.

Breaking out ususally means your body is fighting off some kind of bacteria and it is coming out through your skin. Its no differnt then a cold, except its the skin instead of your lungs. Just drink tons of water. It could be that your body is detoxing from your change in diet and letting go of the toxins through the skin. Its just the body ridding itself of bad stuff. It could be a good sign. However, you should also make sure your not having an allergic reaction to something your eating.

It sounds like your body is kinda detoxing, which is very good, you might try a facial mask once or twice a week (depending on your skin type). That'll help clean out your poores so they don't get infected (acne). Put the mask in in this order...
cleanse
exfoliate
MASK
tone
moisturize
Hope that helps!
