this sounds so YUMMY!!!!

FRUIT and OATMEAL SNACK BARS

Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, combine sugars, yogurt, egg whites, oil, milk and vanilla; mix well. In medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well. Add dry ingredients to yogurt mixture; mix well. Stir in oats, dried fruit and almonds. Spread dough onto bottom of ungreased 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Bake 28 to 32 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely on wire rack. Cut into bars. Store tightly covered.

NUTRITION INFORMATION (1 bar): Calories 120, Total Fat 2g, Sat. Fat 0g, Chol. 0mg, Sodium 55mg, Total Carb. 24g, Fiber 1g, Protein 3g.

3/4 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 container (8 oz.) plain low-fat yogurt

2 egg whites, lightly beaten

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

2 tablespoons fat-free milk

2 teaspoons vanilla

11/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)

3 cups Quaker oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)

1 cup diced dried mixed fruit or dried cranberries

1/3 cup sliced almonds (optional)

Could I substitute wheat flour for the all purpose and it still turn out right?

I don't see any reason why you couldn't use wheat flour instead of white flour. I substituted splenda for the sugar and used raisins for the fruit.. didn't have any other dried fruit available and they turned out very good.. I think I'd spray the pan with a little oil. they don't come out of the pan real well.. Only thing the recipe doesn't tell you is how big one serving should be.. Hmm.. think small..LOL
