Good morning all!!
I hope everyone is doing great! :)))
Okay, as some of you are aware, I've decided to run. As of yesturday, I ran another full mile, plus two laps extra without stopping. I'm VERY happy with my progress to date.
I was wondring something about 'how' I'm running though. Should I be focussing on running as many laps as I can without stopping, OR.... should I focus on literal time -- in other words, run only for say 20 minutes, regardless of how many laps that might be. And what would the difference in the two be in terms of overall results.
Right now I'm doing between an 8 and 10 minute mile -- yeah.... not exactly ready for the Boston marathon, but that's life. Maybe someday.... I usually wind up doing about a total of 30 - 45 mins between running and walking everytime I go, which is pretty much every other day (Mon, Wed, Fri & Sat or Sun), and I have karate on Tues, Thurs and Sun for 2 hours each time. So, I am definitely getting exercise everyday.
Anyway, if anyone has any thoughts on running, I'd love to hear them. It never hurts to get as much info as possible. Knowledge is power afterall :)))
Cheers,
Luna :)))
