No responses necessarily required for this post. I'm thinking that we need to keep disagreements kind, as short and concise as possible and that they don't become the mainstay of this discussion group. There have been some posts from new members feeling rather disillusioned concerning the effectiveness and productiveness of our group. I think it's a great group. I'll not be leaving, myself. However, I feel that we do need to not eat up screen space in constant debate as to who has said what, who is to blame, so on and so forth. In the interest of this group, I propose that we strive to try to be equitable, kind, and understanding, and always seek to uplift and encourage each other, especially the newcomers. To opt to change for the better is always a good thing.

She was actually thanking you and only you for support. From what I got, the rest of us were not supporting her and berating her. Can't find any evidence in the last couple of days of that, but that's what she was saying. Your not going anywhere that you won't still be HERE.

To tell you the truth, I get on sometimes, just to see how much more you've lost. It's quite a boost. You tend to be very patient, very kind, and very much the "keep-everything-above-board" kind of person. It would be a huge loss. I guess I wanted to try to post as non-inflammatory a post as possible and ended up sending the wrong message. darn it. sorry, ken. we'll letyou visit Nadine in 14 days, but I'd better see you back on soon thereafter! puullllleeeeeze.

You didn't cause anything.... you were only speaking your mind.. What this other person said offended a lot of other people too,,not just you.. We just need to ignore people like that.. Know one wants you to leave Ken.. Who's going to give us our morning laugh every day??? If you leave we'll all hunt you down... Now tell us you're not going to leave!!!!!

You're not the cause of anyone leaving... Why do you say you are? You're not the one that started all this controversy..(SP) I know sometimes it's hard to ignore ignorant people but sometimes it's best to do that. Some people just dont' understand that what they say hurts others but if you ignore it,,they will probably go away if they don't get any attention.

Most people like KEN. Myself included. And Ken, if someone DID leave because of you, so what, 99% of the group LOVES you. Dont let your negative emotions get you down.

Good post. Especially about how we look to new folks who want and need help. And about using up screen space, folks with questions about weightloss and health are not getting answered.
I'd like to ask you all to just pause before answering. Perhaps some posts are just not worth answering.
