I was wondering if anyone out there has experienced what feels like 'menstrual cramps' because of a change in exercise?
I started my couch to 5K program on Saturday -- felt fine afterwards and Sunday too. This morning though, I feel as though I'm having slight menstrual cramps. Given that it's no where near my 'time of the month' I'm wondering if the exercise change might be to blame?
All comments/advise/suggestions welcome.
Thanks :)
Cheers,
Luna :))

Just make sure you aren't doing too much too soon. It doesn't sound like you are, but sometimes too much exercise can start messing with our hormones. Also, it may have nothing to do with your exercise, but it may mean you just ovulated. Many women (myself included) experience menstrual-type cramping around ovulation time. If you've been on birth-control you may want to check to see if you have ovulated because birth-control has been known to fail at times and you'd probably want to know. Anyhow, I wouldnt' worry about it unless it continues and then you may want to invest in a pregnancy test or get to a doctor. Always better to be safe then sorry.

You have a point. I'm not in pain or anything.... just discomfort. If it doesn't subside I'll see a doc.
