k im a heavy set kid, lol well im not exactly a kid anymore, im 18 and was wondering, im 220 pounds now and i got the gut and excess flab but i have alot of muscle aswell, ive been lifting weights for about 2 years now, and i was wondering if i started doing alot of cardio would the fat and flab burn off or will the flab always be there? i mean like will it ever be possible to get a 6 pack and get rid of the luv handles without like lipo or sometihng just wondering thanks

Yes it is possible! And you already named how. Cardio. You need to get moving and get your body into fat burning mode.

It may take a little bit of time before you notice a lot of results, but you can do it, and it will be worth it!

Doing a lot of cardio will help but most people find eating fewer Calories combined with cardio much more effective. It takes a LOT of exercise to make up for excessive eating. At your size you would probably have to run about a mile to burn off the calories in a single apple.

A lot of guys say they would rather exercise than diet because they do not want to feel hungry. But what they are overlooking is that hunger is your body's response to burning more calories than you are eating. If you are eating less than you are burning you are going to feel hungry. This is true regardless of whether the calorie deficit is caused by more exercise or less food. Either way, if you are losing weight you are going to feel more hunger. There are a lot of other factors involved with hunger but for me losing weight came down to having to choose between being hungry some of the time or fat all of the time.
