i am unsure how i am gonna track my weight... my scale only goes up to 300 lbs... after that it says EE... (i was 316 on friday) so does that mean that i should just not worry bout it till i go below? or should i buy a better scale so i can track my progress? not sure what to do.... and whats better digital or dial...

that scale is out of my budget!!! LOL it IS a nice scale.... but... i cant spend 60$ on one! LOL
i am gonna use some of your other suggestions.... i have to be real carefull about the butter sprays and everything (i cant use margerine... or margerine like products because they trigger my migraines....) i mostly just use a well seasoned cast iron pan.... and a smidgen of olive oil... barely more than 2 teaspoons.... to fry egs in... thats how i do toast too... but in a dry pan with a bit of vanilla in the pan for "sweet toast" its so good you dont need butter!!! LOL
as for my docs office.... there is no "popping in" it takes about an hour to get in... and even if you just want to use the scale they make you wait.... its rediculous!
thanks again gary!

Hey Jenn,I went to Walmart and found a Sunbeam digital scale with a rollback price of only $5.00.It had been $17.78,so it was a great deal.I don't know if they have them for this price out there, but you might check. LOL

......I'm not sure how accurate a digital scale would be for that price,
but hey, for $5.00 as long as it is consistantly off by the same amount,
you could always compare your weight from the next doctor's visit
and go right home and weigh yourself to see the difference if any.
a store I went to had several display models out of the box so I stepped
on a few different ones to see how different the readings were, you might
try the same thing.

.....that's too bad, my doctor's office had no problem with me
stopping by unannounced for a quick weigh-in, they just had
to have someone go back to the scale with me as you could
not go back in that area unattended, but they didn't mind.
You would think your doctor would be glad enough that you
are committed to losing weight that they would let you
do a quick weekly weigh-in just till you got under 300 and
could use your current scale.
