I've mentioned before that I have this goal to enter in a bike race next year (100 mile). I talked to my dad last night...he's been a coach for almost 30 years with numerous coaching awards and such. I asked him if I was biting off too much at once and he doesn't think so. He thinks it's totally possible, it'll just take dedication and such. He gave me an outline to start training and he says it'll be imperative that I lift weights. arg. This is where GymMachine will come in...lol. Anyhow, I'm kinda pumped about it. It's reallly great when someone close to you thinks you can do something. If any of you have any advice for how to start and what kinds of things ot do to get ready, post!

Well, I'm sure you already know this but just in case. Start riding your bike more and more. I said I would loke to do the 3 day charity walk which is 60miles. I am up to 4-6 miles a day.
