I had to take prednisone last summer because I have inflammatory bowel disease.
I gained several pounds, but have lost a lot. I still have five or so to go-- but it just will not budge. All the weight is mainly concentrated in my abdomen. Does anyone out there have any suggestions on how to get it off? I watch what I eat and do Tae Bo. Help!!

You can not effectively target specific areas of your body to lose fat. I suggest that you keep a food diary. Make sure that the foods you are eating are really low in fat and calories. Calculate your calories requirements and see how close you are to them everyday. Keep excersising aerobically.
Abdominal fat is tough to lose. Prednisone does not help either. Ask your Gastroenterologist if you could be on any maintenance medications to prevent flairs and use of subsequent use of Prednisone.
