well.... you may remember when i posted that i was having a problem with neaseau durring and after exercise.....
well i found a solution.... i am eating 1/2 of an apple and a 1/2 cup (well the cup is a big cup like 16 oz or so) of tomato juice.... then sipping on the juice durring workout.... i tried it with other juices... and water.... but the thicker the tomatoe juice the less likely i am to get yucky.... and i wait 1 hour after waking up to workout
then after working out... like an hour.... i eat the other part of the apple and a bowel of cereal with my kids.... and really i have to force myself to eat the cereal and apple cause i am not hungry.... but if i dont then by lunch time i am ravenous... and my BS starts to drop and i feel sick again...
so i explained it all to my doc.... and she did some bloodwork... i am just on the borderline from being diabetic... like 1 or 2 points away (i dont remember the numbers or scale.... only that i was so close!) so she wants me to keep up with this lifestyle change and come back in 8 weeks.... also if my cholesterol isnt down she wants to put me on medicine....
so thats my little update.... now its time to go workout... i have been up for an hour.....
hugs!

i think the fact your eating something before working out is what is advantagous here...i would try eat the whole 1/2 cup of juice and apple about 30 mins prior to exercise..then post workout have your cereal..having the soup during exercise cant be good for your gut lol... your giving yourself food to digest and your body cant because it needs blood to go everywhere else when your working out...so essentially the juice just sits in your stomach...im no doc so i dont know the exact implications of exercising whilst undigested food sits in your stomach but it is something to look for...like i said try eating prior and waiting 30 mins before you exercise and see how that goes..im just concerned since tomato juice isnt what the body needs as a workout fuel, it is more a food and i would be wary about the undigested food as i mentioned before.
