I am looking to add more protein to my diet but i am a very picky eater. I hate eggs, cottage cheese and yogurt. I am especially looking for breakfast ideas. I have tried powders, but find them very hard to drink. Any suggestions? I loved all of your advise from my last posting..thanks!

Are you perhaps a vegetarian?
Fish, chicken and other lean meats are good sources of protein. And so are beans and other legumes. I myself don't like the texture of beans but I love the taste, so I will often make a bean soup (8-bean, 12 bean, whatever) and then puree it when it is done. This makes it thicker and seems more filling too, and really yummy.
Three-bean salad, made with a light dressing of vinegar and extra virgin olive oil is also good with lots of protein.
ALso, have you tried just egg whites? scrambled or in an omlet, tehy are lighter tasting than the whole egg and are pure protein.
Good luck

Mlax, eat cold meats (or grilled bacon) and fish - haddock, kippers or mackeral. These are better for you than powder drinks. Why do you need more protein?

protein is your muscle...but its not as simple as that..u have to give your muscles a reason to grow...weight training will do this...eat plenty of protein with it, and yeah u will grow....and yes the more muscle u have the more calories u burn even at rest...thats because your muscle tissue is your metabolism center.
