what are butterflys? the pain is normal, it will go dont worry...Evan your very green on lifting weights and i hope your not gonna hurt yourself...your recent posts suggest u want to lose fat (mainly upper body) to see some chickie....well ill tell ya now weights are probably a minority to your exercise regime...sure do them a couple of times per week...what u have to focus on is diet and cardio workout....weights wont make u lose fat...they will help in the long run but they dont hold a candle to cardio workouts for fat loss...i suggest you find a good cardio program in which u can work up to a good fitness level....no amount of butterflies (???) or any ofther chest movements with weights are going to help u lose fat the way u want it to.

well, you are so right. i do plenty of excercises and all around the house, doing landscaping in the heat and keeping hydrated with lots of water. every morning and night i do 10 minutes of jumpingjaxs and run in place for five. sometimes i go out and runn at night when its cool and brezzy. mainly i work in the yard, cutting down trees and hauling them up out huge hill in our back yard, mulching leaves and leveling our yard. i think its helping a great deal casue i feel ive lost a few pounds and im sliming down little by little, but i know its going to take weeks. i just want to get the fat turned into muscle, im not worried about being a larg guy, i just hate the lose fat ya know. thanks for your reply, i apreciat all the advice i can get, thanks again.

no worries...just for reference fat doesnt turn into muscle and muscle doesnt turn into fat...they r 2 seperate entities...they r 2 different systems...muscles can grwo or shrink and fat cells grow or shrink...we actually dont lose fat in the true sense of the word, when we diet/exercise etc our fat cells get smaller making us look thinner/leaner.
