if u burn what u eat u would be dead...plain and simple..your body needs food for other processes not just your energy...keep it 1500 calories or below as a general rule of thumb....when weight training (if ur going heavy like i think you are), train ONE muscle groups per week...leave atleast 1 week rest...muscles grow whilst at rest, all else is overkill ...training regurly is constant break down on ur muscles, without time to rebuild back up...that is a recipe for overtraining...as for running only you know when your overdoing it...fatigue is a general sign of too much cardio...leave one day off per week where you do nothing at all...u may feel slack but take note that this is the time your body uses more effeciently than when ur in the gym....i train like this
Mon: morning cardio, evening weights (biceps, back)
tue: cardio
wed: morning cardio, evening weights (chest, shoulders, triceps)
thur:cardio
fri:morning cardio, evening weights (legs and abs)
sat: cardio
sun: off.

this is working so far...my muscles are growing and im losing fat...take not i train one muscle group per week in a split routine...most start off doing whole body routines 3 times a week, which is fine when your not going heavy, but i get the impression you are, so i hope you follow a similar split routine...

what im doing right now for training is

Mon. cardio (legs)
Tue. cardio (arms + abs)
Wed. cardio (shoulders + traps)
Thur. cardio (back)
Fri. cardio (chest + abs)
Sat. off
Sun. off

and i am lifting heavy weights or what i think is heavy weights ive been following the max-OT training so if i consume 1500 calories a day would it be o.k to loose about 300 on the tredmill anf then do other misc. cardio work
