 outcome????!!!!

hey -
I was wondering if anybody here could answer my question about weight loss.
See, I have about 30 or so pounds to lose, but I want to actually change my body shape. Instead of looking the same as I do now, except 30 pounds lighter, I want to look 30 pounds less AND THIN. But I don't want to lift a lot of weights because I am worried about building too much muscle and looking even more overweight.
Am I jsut trippin'????????
I am currently doing 30 - 40 minutes of cardio. Is that enought to change my shape? I know I am not being very clear, but i hope that gives a satisfactory picture of my problem.

:)

losing weight does change your shape...30 pounds lighter will be thin...and as for weights, your not going to grow like you think...its a common thing especially in females that by lifting a 5 pound weight they r gonna be the hulk in 2 weeks....trust me, not only do you have a lack of testosterone to put on anyting major in the muscle catagory, it isnt as easy as people think to grow...i suggest u do weight train, that will change your body shape with the fat loss somewhat and it will be for the better...dont let the big chick steroid junkies throw ya off...that kind of body takes years and years to develop.

Hey you'll need abetter answer from Gym Machine or someone else but while you're waiting my understanding is many reps with lighter weights will not bulk you up. You don't say whether you are male or female but I think it's pretty difficult for a woman to bulk up. My kid is a collegiate athelete and she lifts six hours per week and doesn't get big.

Apparently lifting weights also speeds up your metabolism. I am not entirely sure if thats true, but thats what I have been told!
