one Tip on moving things along...

Reaching a goal is made somewhat easier if broken down into small segments....
Instead of being overwhelmed by what you need to undertake to lose x amount of weight or get healthy start by asking yourself one simple ?.

When things get hard and I need to refocus here is what I do.
I ask my self the following /
"What can I do today, to work towards reaching my goal"
write down the answer to that ? and move on...

For example my answers vary...if I don`t feel that motivated I may chose to meet a 300 calorie burn by physical activities.
or it may be a mini goal to write every single pc of food down .
Drinking x amount of water etc...

Don`t look at the big picture, it can become overwhelming, instead turn the pages of the photo album one at a time..Be strong You can do it! :) Ghislaine

I totally agree. My 150lb weight loss goal is broken down into many milestones. When I first started they were only 10lb goals after a few mo I made them a little more long term....like being the weight I was before my second child was born, weighing less than my hubby(I'm almost there!)...but I still will set a small 10lb goal if i'm feeling low or have had a plateau or something. It helps to give me a little jump start.

I just want to say I am proud of all of us for sticking to our guns even during the dreary winter months! I cant tell you how much I am looking forward to spring. I have missed all the fresh fruit and veggies that are soooo much better quality and way cheaper! I swear my food bill has gone up since my lifestyle change even though our family eats less and eats out less lol. Oh well, cheers to all of us! as someone posted down below "here's to a new me (and you) in 2003!"
