Good morning to you all! Just a brief response to some of the earlier posts. I do sincerely hope that nobody leaves because of careless insults posted here. Liberating your body from the "bondage" of un-fitness and fat is extremely freeing. And there's no better way to stay on track as when you have people who are cheering you on.Anne-Marie, I saw your picture-post...looking really great.:) I applaud you. I just want to say that while some of us are past some of the emotional issues connected with weightgain, others are still working through the vicious cycle stage (I've been there), where the things that happen in life are very integral in personal health and such. Let's try to be patient and come alongside and be willing to "listen". I would like to think that this isn't just a weightloss discussion group, but a group who truly wants complete, whole health. I know for me it is very difficult to separate a bad day, week, year, emotionally, from the fears of gaining a bunch of weight. I don't think I'm the only one, either. I guess I'm just saying kindness and patience are in order.

Very well said. In my short time here, I've found a well needed support for my long road to lose weight. I hope no one takes one bad apple to ruin what the whole can do..give you the help, opinions, and friendship to stay focused and make it to the goal.

Good post. I do have to say that I think the posts on this board should be confined to issues related to weight loss, rather than unrelated personal issues, but in my opinion there really has been only one post recently which was truly off topic. For a lot of us, eating and weight loss are heavily entwined with emotional issues, and I agree that we should be willing to cut people a lot of slack in this regard, and offer what help we can.
