O.K. I will never be a contender for the olympics but frankly it inspires me to get off the couch and do some form of physical of activities! How about you gals and guys?
5` 4 and 3/4 inches
previous weightloss from 2002- 2003
jan 2002 --198 lbs/ down to 160 lbs
start losing weight again July 19th 2004
168 lbs/ 157 lbs / 145 lbs
inches lost from may 5th to-oct 2nd 2004=15.5in

In a way...I definitely can't sit there munching on a donut, watching these athletes run/bike/swim their hearts out! And yeah, it does totally motivate me to get my butt moving!
Too bad Canada isn't doing too great so far, but I'm sure we'll get better!

I never watched the olympics at all until this year.
I could not believe my eyes watching the men holding their bodies parallel to the floor while all they had to hold on to were a couple of rings.

That can inspire you and if it does that is great, but what really inspired me was a story in our local newspaper that I read about a month ago, it showed a man that was in his 70's who could do somewhere around 30 or more pull-ups !
Now THAT was inspiring because I figured if it was possible for him to be in such good shape at that age, then I surely could get in even better shape myself, my goal is to get to where I can do at least 30 pull-ups or more, I haven't found a place to start yet so I don't yet know how many I can do right now, but I have been lifting weights so I should be able to get off to a reasonable start.
