Well I guess one good thing as come out of my new lifestyle changes since my 10 year old has decided to do her science fair project on the theme of nutrition and the human body etc...Not sure where she is going with it but she wants to do comparison of exercising after eating certain foods etc...
Guess I will be her guinny pig.....Any tips and ideas would be appreciated...
5` 4 and 3/4 inches
previous weightloss from 2002- 2003
jan 2002 --198 lbs/ down to 160 lbs
start losing weight again July 19th 2004
168 lbs/ 157 lbs / 145 lbs
inches lost from may 5th to-oct 2nd 2004=15.5in

Thanks Gary...My daughter will eventually do the project in french but any info for research can be done in english and then transalated...;D G

not sure how you could do a project on that since you shouldnt exercise after eating straight away anyway ;)..you could do a comparison on exercise like 30 minutes later perhaps...then you could compare white plain pasta (high glycemic) then observe heart rate and perceived energy levels (talk test) through 30 minutes of exercise for example...then you could compare the same amount of pasta but with a low glycemic version such as duram wheat semonila and then measure how hard the exercise is...then in an 'problems encountered' section of her report you could state the tests are highly subjective to personal opinion since , apart from a heart rate monitor it is difficult to be accurate as to how hard the person is working through the talk test...and you could talk about the amount of time inbetween exercise sessions (days or even a week etc) and how that could affect results...and by comparing foods that have both high glycemic versions and low glycemic versions such as pasta, rice and bread you can determine which gives the best energy release through energy levels in exercise 30 minutes after consumption....theres an idea anywayz :)
