i know i am only 13 but i am 175 pounds and very over weight i go to the mall with my friend and see tham buing all of thies clohes that i want to ware but i dont event want to think a bout even trying them on because i know i wont look good in it. And i really want a to where a string Bikini but i know I just wont look good showing my abdomen and i have a pudgy stomech and i dont like the way i look with it falling out of that kind of bathing suit. (i know that sounds gross) im going in to 8th grade and i really want to look great next school year,I am going to try slimfast and i am exersing more
so please if anyone has any more advice or any thing else that they have tryed and i is or has worked please help me you can im me or e-mail me .

I have some advice for you. Quit watching TV and playing video games and hanging out on the puter, and start getting involved in things like sports or other "active" activities. Ride a bike, get on a swim team, or basketball team. Get into something you like and practice, practice, practice. Stay busy and active. It will keep you from eating too often.
When you do eat, think about getting good fuel for your bod. Even at thirteen, you know crap from good stuff. I was a crap eater and I've now had two heart attacks and oh yeah, a really crappy body in general. Guess it's really true. You are what you eat. Shine the slimfast. Make changes you can stick to.
Finally, love yourself kid. Be grateful you have a strong body and mind that will get you where you wanna go and doing things you wanna do. All your thin friends in their cute clothes are insecure too, just maybe about something besides weight.
Oh yeah, and as a Dad of three daughters, What's wrong with a nice one piece instead of a string bikini???

you are in the same boat as a lot of people. Don't feel bad; there is something that you can do abou it.
I am sixteen years old and I too feel that I am overweight.
Getting a super fit body depends a lot on how much you want it. And, it's about calories that you consume versus calories that you expend. You naturally expend calories every day by the body's way of operation (breathing, etc.,) but, in weight loss, you want to booost how many calories you use by moving your body for more than 30 minutes at least four times a week, and i would try for five if I were you. That's what i have done. If I were you I would try to do your exercises in the morning because this boost your metabolism and as you go through the day your body is burning more calories.
How tall are you anyway? I am 5'6'' and weight around 138 pounds. I want to get down to 115 or 112, though, because that is where I feel most comfortable.
Get to a spot weightwise where your body feels comfortable and you feel comfortable and that is what really counts.

Hi. My name is Tiffany. I understand how you feel...I'm a little older than you, I'm 20. Mind if I act kinda like a big sister? First, I know slim fast shakes sound like an easy way to do things, but ya gotta eat girl! Eat a lot of veggies...I know they don't always taste great, I know I hate cooked veggies, I eat all mine raw. Those shakes may not give you all the nurtients you need. Remember you are still growing. Try to drink water, not so much juice and soda. Both are filled with sugar. Try not to be too hard on yourself. It can lead to eating disorders which you don't want. The other responses had great ideas!! And I agree with the slimfast. Don't waste your money. They are easier. But don't feel you up so you eat more. I tried them. Do what Eric said and get out there and be active. Go do stuff you enjoy. Something that keeps you moving instead of sitting. I have been down about my weight since I was in about 5th grade. I still am. And dwelling on your weight 24 7 can sure bring you down. One piece bathing suits are more flattering anyway. So go get one, and hit the pool/beach and have fun being a kid!!
