No I definitely wouldn't think it's wrong. It's probably better that you don't feel really bad, because if you did, you would probably just get really down on yourself about eating something you normally wouldn't while on a diet and be more prone to stop dieting or working out all together. At least that's what would happen with me, I am definitely an emotional eater!

Before when I went on diets, I did feel guilty, but this time it's different, because I'm not on a diet, I have changed my lifestyle. There would be no way that I could ever stay with a lifestyle plan if I couldn't eat something occasionally without feeling guilty about it. I have no doubt that I will succeed with my new lifestyle plan and I have never felt that way before. It is taking me a little longer to lose weight than it did before, but I'll get there, because my usual habits have changed. An occasional treat or a day of more than usual calories won't change the outcome.

I'm not saying to pig out every other day. Just remember that dieting helps you to lose weight while changing your lifestyle not only makes it possible for you to lose weight, but to be able to keep it off after you lose it. Your plan has to be one that you will be able to live with. Well, that's my opinion anyway.

i think you are right because if i was feeling all bad, i would probably "fall off the wagon" and continue to eat bad for days. but instead all day i was reminding myself that tommorow is a new day and today was special.
thanks for answering my post. :)

Well said. That is the exact reason that I know that I too am going to make it! Yes, I have lost weight much faster in the past, but look where that got me, back to the same struggle. Thanks for putting that into words.

You are doing great Teena..........hope you had a happy 4th! I ate bad too, but I saved it as my cheat day. I never feel guilty about cheat days! Plus, I am still losing even though I have those cheat days. Woo Hoo! Hugs
