An eliptical trainer that includes some arm action would be a bigger bang for the buck in my opinion. Now go kiss and make up!
Good luck.

I have an exercise bike and use it 3-4 times a week. It only really helps your legs so after im done i go and use weights.

Didn't mean to sound cheeky with Pam. And I never really answered her question, my apologies. Anything that will get your heart rate to 60% to 80% of max heart rate, and hold for 20 50 minutes is a great cardio workout. It's as simple as walking. As you get more fit, you have to work harder to keep it in the aerobic range, and the more muscle movement you have to recruit to do it. That is where I think bikes come up short. Most bikes allow you to increase resistance, but it can be tougher on your knees, and even cause strength imbalances in your legs.
If I was going to spend the money, I would get something like an eliptical trainer that involves the muscles in the entire body, and is easy on those joints. Good luck. It is the moving that counts more than how you move.
