i've checked out loads of sites, and they all give different answers! but i think the general consensus is that for a margharita it's about 700 calories. does this sound about right to you guys? help!

Of course they're different answers because there are so many different pizzas. How many calories a pizza has depends on what it has on it. Thin crust, thick crust, deep dish. What meats are on it, what veggies are on it and how much cheese was used. Plain crust, stuffed crust, no crust. You get the general idea.
If you need specific information about a specific pizza, see if the restaurant has a website. Some places have their own websites with nutrition information on their products. If that fails, try calorieking.com.
If that fails, you'll have to guess.

I tried to figure this out once. I came up with about 85 calaories an ounce. Or if you buy a frozen pepperoni pizza it is around 400 calories for 1/6th of the pizza. These numbers may be wrong and of course it does depends on what you have on it. You can probably go to the Pizza Hut or Dominos online site and find the correct number.
