i know i've been kinda quiet lately
i've had my share of probs i guess
i have a doc appt in the morning... i'm nervous about it
I am scared i've got something to do with diabetes going on
it may just be simply hypoglycemia
i have been having sugar lows
last night it was 61 and i was shaking so bad i just had to eat.... even though i'd already hit my cal limit and then some for the day
this morning i did a fasting blood sugar when i woke up.... it was 71
i just now checked a 1 hr after meal and it was 104
so i can't see that it's going too high anywhere....
Anyway hopefully i'll find out something tomorrow and i can sit down and plan out some better meals to help this problem...
I don't weigh in again officially til thursday
but maybe the doc scale will show some loss...

I wish I understood your scale Brandy. On ours 7 is maximum high. If you are 7.1 you get sent to a dietician. I take mine at work once in a while. It has been as high as 8.3 and as low as 2. That's the spot we're supposed to start giving glucose tabs and monitoring q 5 minutes. I just ate something and didn't tell anyone :(
Anyway, what I wanted to say is that mine have been beautifully normal ( 5.8 or 6.2) since I got down to say ..... 145 lbs I think.
And my blood pressure is nicely around 110/65.
It may be psychological but I think it's the weight loss.
Take heart lovey, you're doing the right thing.

a fasting normal is 70- 115 (mine was 71)
1/2 - 1 hr post is <200 (mine was 104)
it should never be below 70...... i've seen mine at 59 and 60 several times
that is cuz i tend to check when i get the shakes and it's usually anywhere from 59-69 that i'm feeling so lousy

Ummm... I don't know if you were measuring blood sugar specifically, but your range should be between 5 - 9 (I'm not sure what units they use....).
Try not to worry about it too much. Your doctor will order a series of tests and once they've made a diagnosis (if that is the case), if needed.
Try not to worry too much. Lots of things can make your body do strange stuff -- trust me.
Take care and please let us know how your appointment goes.
Keep smiling -- everything will be fine :)))
Cheers,
Luna :))
