I'm thinking about adding yoga to my fitness routine. Does anyone practice yoga? I've done some reading on the web, but it's way too much information for a beginner. If anyone could recommend a beginner's book or videotape, I would appreciate it.

I have a friend who is a Yoga teacher and it sounds to me like it is more a mental thing that a physical thing. My weight gain porbably is more mental than anything else, lol. I think there is a lot of streaching in Yoga and that would be good for a person.

yes join yoga. its great. my grandma is a yoga fanatic and so i practiced it with her for a while. i was really losing weight and feeling great. but then i got lazy and i stopped doing it. but then, mind you, my grandma also wakes up at like 5:00 in the morning and practices then and eats VERY little.
