Well, for me....I watch what I ate and recently join Fitday.com - I am in heaven and so far it has truly help me with my food calorie and activity. I also started doing 6 miles a day. (work out with a video call Walk away the Pounds with Leslie Sansone). I try to do 3 miles in the morning and do another 3 miles in the evening. You really don't need to buy any book to lose weight. You can try walking outside or do any video to lose weight and as long you watch what you eat...anybody can lose weight. Also have you figure out how much calorie you need to lose weight?? Mine, as long as I don't pass 1500 calories I am fine. Good Luck and hope you can lose it before you prom. Take care.

Write down everything you eat, even the nibbles and bites, they really add up.At the end of a week or two see where you need to cut back.I think this is sooo important,it really helps me.Start walking, just a little to start, then add more each week. You can do this!!! :-)

Go to the home page of this site and use the calorie calculator to determine what your calorie intake should be. Then start a food journal and write down everything you eat. Stay within the suggested calorie range and you will lose one pound per week. Maybe a little more at first. If you drink alot of sodas (not diet soda) cut those out immediately and switch to water and diet soda. People have told me they have lost weight w/o even trying just by cutting out sodas.
