I'm the type of person that will eat when I'm bored and I have a hard time finding something to do besides coming on here... Then I'll grab something sometimes and eat it while I'm on here.. Anyway.. I was wondering what you all do for hobbies.. I'm hoping you will give me some ideas of hobbies so I can stay away from food..
Hope everyone has a wonderful day,,
Pam

Good Morning Pam!!!!! I was just wondering last night where you have been. Or did I just miss your post? I had a great week. My official weigh in was yesturday and I was down 1.8 pounds. But this morning I was down another 1.6. How was your camping trip? We had a great 4th.
Have a good day.
Kim
P.S. Sorry, I really don't have any ideas for you. I really don't have any hobbies that I do on a regular basis.

Hi Kim,, I haven't been posting much lately.. I've been so busy here I hardly have time to come on the computer.. I'm up to 10 daycare children along with my own 3 children and I'm running around like a chicken with it's head cut off.. LOL But I enjoy it most of the time.. I had a great 4th of July weekend.. It didn't last long enough tho. We went 4 wheeling and saw a huge fireworks display.. Went swimming and tanned.. Did a lot of relaxing and of course a lot of eating.. I've managed to maintain my wieght so I guess I won't be getting a pin from Ken. That's ok.. I'm just glad I've maintained.. For some reason I just can't get back into losing weight. I'm not sure what's wrong with me.. It's been over a month now since I've actually tried to lose weight. Hopefully after this weekend,,I have a wedding to go to, I'll get my butt back in gear and start doing more exercise and eating better. I have a problem with Irritable bowel syndrome and it seems like the healthier I eat the worse it gets.. Fruits and veggies are the main problem...
Well.. I better get to work here.. You have a great day and Congratulations on the weight you've lost..

At my house it's puzzles, coloring books, reading, some type of kids craft,I haven't figured out what we'll do today,, Maybe make pin wheels and go spin them outside,, and then there's always the " I'm Hungry" activity.. LOL I've been taking them outside but I think I'm allergic to the sun..My face is so rough and itchy plus there's just WAY too many Mosquitoes out there..
And my daily TV shows are Blue's Clues,, Dora the Explorer, and sometimes Sesame Street.. they don't care for that one too much.
Have fun with the kiddies.. It's about time for 4 more of them to get here..

I work on old cars to keep away from food. Grease really grosses me out and then I have no appetite.
I also try to hang around friends I know are on weight watchers or who have lost major weight...I always think they're judging me, even though they aren't (maybe they are?).
I train my dogs...dog biscuits aren't that appealing (although there have been days).
Okay, I'll cop to this. When I quit smoking once I crocheted (that looks wrong sp?). It kept my finger s busy. Which is so much less embarrassing than any numberr of other things I coulda done to keep my fingers busy, but guys aren't suppose to crochet.
Hey, I'm secure with my masculanity, what can I say?

I putter in my flower garden, water my house plants, organize cupboards, read (but that one can sometimes make snacking too easy), go for easy walks, scrub windows, organize photos - just about anything that will keep me out of the kitchen.
So far this summer I've organized 5 cupboards, washed the outside of the house with this stuff that was supposed to spray on and clean the siding (crap didn't work), washed the insides of all windows, have great flowers and no weeds, washed walls, and read 3 wonderful books. At this rate, by the time the summer is over my house will look amazing ;-p

Hey! Eric
We can have a crochet party. (J/K!!) My hobbie is crocheting when I am totally BORED...(just taught my daughter how to do it...she made her daddy a bedsocks last night - her daddy gave her $5.00....since it was taking me a long time to do it. I don't have the patience to sit long enough to make him bedsocks.). I sew once in a while when I am in the mood. I like to read alot of books especially winter times. But most of all, I love to cook desserts. That is about it.

I've been trying to come up with good hobbies that involve some level of physical activity. Bike riding is pretty fun, been doing a bit of that now that the weather is nice, same with hiking. I'd ultimately (no pun intended) like to get into ultimate frisbee which involves a ton of running and is supposed to be pretty fun. As far as hobbies to occupy yourself while your hungry I've been watching movies and reading.
