Omg! I'm getting very frustrated here! I've been back from my trip for a week and a half. We were only gone 3 days. Yah, i ate too much, but geez...... why can't I even get back to were I was the day before we left on the trip???
I was 285, the day before. The day after we got back 289. 4 days later 287, now back to 288.5..... what gives?????? I've been doing my workouts. I'm back to eating the way I was before the trip. I really didn't go way over my calorie intake..... could this just be a typical plateau and a coincidence with the timing of the trip?? I'm so angry that I'm at least not back down to 285, where I was before? I feel like I am doing everything right, and still gaining!!

Hey, Melody. Don't get discouraged. Just looking at your numbers tells me you're still on the downward travel. Use the frustrated energy to do something about it. Go get something sweet and light for dinner(watermelon or make a big fruit salad), enjoy eating light, drinking lots of water, and go sweat for an hour(or better yet, if you're tired, sleep for an hour). It'll do your mind good. Just an encouragement...don't be constantly checking the scale, it'll drive you nuts. Once a week is my suggestion. I play games with myself. Like right now, I'm staying away from the scale until August. I'll see how far I've come then. Honestly, you're doing fine. Just DON'T get on a vicious cycle of getting depressed and eating, OK??? you hear me, Mel? I'm gonna be "watching" you...LOL

I suggest you just stay on the right track and give it another week or so and THEN weigh. Don't keep weighing so close together, it is waaaaaaaaaay too frustrating. Your numbers will start moving soon.........Smiles

I had the same problem after coming back from a vacation, and finally I decided to basically start all over again! I think our bodies take some time to adjust to changes in diet! Just hold tough and keep pushing through it, it will eventually get back to where it was!
