I need to loss weight! I want to get it off and keep it off. Do have any suggestions for a guy on how to loss weight mostly on my chest and stomach?? I need to loss anywhere from 20-40lbs. HELP!!!!!

From what I have heard you can't just spot reduce where you want to loose weight. But you can excercie that particular muscle and the muscle or something will help in lookng the body fat there or something to that effect sorry i am trying here but it doesn't seem to be coming out right. hope this didn't just cornfuse you

Alex: Jyne is right...there is no such thing as spot reducing, but there is spot toning. Step #1 Get your body-fat percentage taken Step #2 Set a goal for the bodyfat %. ( For reference, men look lean at about 15% and to show a sixpack on the stomach usually requires a bodyfat % of about 8%) Step #3 Set a goal for the bodyweght needed to acheive the desired bodyfat %. Good news..it may be less weight loss is needed because if you do it right ; you will add muscle as you are subtracting fat. Step #4 start an exercise program balanced between weights and aerobics. Step #5 after about a month of working out start to clean your diet of junk food carbs. Darryl
